Honey Buzzards by Steve Roberts

Tuesday 27 November 2018

Steve has been studying Honey-buzzards for 30 years and have published several landmark papers on the species for British Birds. He retired from teaching and now works as the nest-finder and tree climber for BBC Springwatch. His work has resulted in him having to travel widely bird nesting and includes climbing up to the nests of such iconic species as Harpy Eagle and Crowned Eagle. Excitingly, this year he will be attempting to reach the nest of the Philippine Eagle.
