The Cattle Egret showed daily at North Cove, while Little Egrets were noted at Carlton Marshes (two), 13 March, North Cove, 14 March, Beccles Marshes, 17 March and Worlingham Marshes, 19 March.
Haddiscoe Island hosted a Rough-legged Buzzard, a Short-eared Owl and a Barn Owl, 13 March and a male Hen Harrier and a Peregrine, 19 March. Raptor records from elsewhere included a male Hen Harrier at Carlton Marshes, 13 March; Peregrines at Barsham Marshes, 15 March and Bungay, 19 March; Buzzards at Ashby (three), 17 March and Worlingham Marshes (five), 19 March; Short-eared Owls at North Cove and Oulton Marshes, 17 March and Barn Owls at Beccles Marshes and Roydon Fen, 13 March, South Lopham (two), 14 March and Carlton Marshes, 19 March.
A flock of 30 Siskins was present at Roydon Fen, 14 March, a Chiffchaff was singing in Oulton, 15 March and two Grey Wagtails were seen at Worlingham Marshes, 19 March. Cetti’s Warblers were recorded at North Cove, 14 March and Somerleyton, 18 March, Bearded Tits at Redgrave Fen (three) and Burgh Castle, 19 March and Kingfishers at North Cove, 14 March, Beccles (two), 15 March and Worlingham Marshes, 19 March.
Waders included four Dunlin at Carlton Marshes, 13 March, a Woodcock at Barsham Marshes, 15 March and a Bar-tailed Godwit, a Knot, 102 Avocets, 250 Black-tailed Godwits and 46 Redshanks at Burgh Castle, 19 March.
