The long-staying adult Cattle Egret at Burgh Castle was present to 4 September and the regular adult Cattle Egret at Carlton Marshes was present from 2 to 4 September and again on 7 September. A Little Egret was noted at Carlton Marshes, 2 September.
A Pied Flycatcher was seen at Carlton Colville, 6 September, while at Carlton Marshes six Whinchats were recorded on 2 September and four late Swifts on 5 September. A Kingfisher was reported from Worlingham Marshes, 3 September.
Notable waders included a Black-tailed Godwit and two Common Sandpipers at Carlton Marshes, 3 September and a Whimbrel, two Common Sandpipers and 165 Curlews at Burgh Castle, 5 September.
Single Hobbies were seen at Carlton Marshes and Worlingham, 2 September and Fritton Lake, 4 September and a Marsh Harrier at Carlton Marshes, 3 September.
Finally, a Pintail and 110 Teal were noted at Carlton Marshes, 5 September.
