The star waders were three Little Stints at Carlton Marshes, 30 September, while other waders present at this site included seven Ringed Plovers, two Dunlin and 12 Snipe, 24 September and 20 Ruffs, three Black-tailed Godwits, two Green Sandpipers and 21 Snipe, 30 September. A Green Sandpiper was noted at Redgrave Fen, 25 September.
Passerine highlights included a Yellow-browed Warbler at Burgh Castle, 30 September and a Tree Pipit, two Whinchats and two Lesser Redpolls at Carlton Marshes, 30 September. Two Stonechats were recorded at Carlton Marshes, 25 September, while Bearded Tits were noted at Lopham Fen (four), 25 September and Carlton Marshes (five), 30 September, Cetti’s Warblers at Lopham Fen (two) and Redgrave Fen, 25 September and Carlton Marshes (eight), 30 September and Kingfishers at Beccles Marshes, 25 September and Carlton Marshes (two), 30 September.
Raptors included three Hobbies at Carlton Marshes, 27 September and Marsh Harriers at Fritton Marshes, 24 September, Lopham Fen, 25 September and Carlton Marshes (two), 30 September. A Barn Owl was noted at Carlton Marshes, 28 September.
A Bittern was seen at Carlton Marshes, 30 September, while Little Egrets were noted at Fritton Marshes (two), 24 September and Carlton Marshes (two), 25 September.
