A Penduline Tit was seen near Toft Monks Mill on Haddiscoe Island, 25 November. Other notable passerines at Haddiscoe Island on 25 November included a Grey Wagtail, two Water Pipits, ten Bearded Tits and two Stonechats, while nearby at Thorpe Marshes, Haddiscoe a Lapland Bunting and a Water Pipit were recorded on the same day. At Waveney Forest, Fritton, eight Crossbills were seen on 26 November and a flock of 30 Siskins the following day. A Grey Wagtail was noted at Worlingham, 25 November and a Water Pipit and a Chiffchaff at Carlton Marshes and ten Bearded Tits and a Chiffchaff at Burgh Castle, 1 December.
The long-staying adult Cattle Egret at Carlton Marshes was present all week and was joined by a second individual on 30 November. A Great White Egret, a Little Egret and a Bittern were seen at Haddiscoe Island, 25 November, while a Little Egret was also noted at Carlton Marshes on the same day.
Raptors recorded at Haddiscoe Island included a Merlin, two Peregrines, a ringtail Hen Harrier, 12 Marsh Harriers, six Buzzards and a Barn Owl, 25 November and two Rough-legged Buzzards and nine Short-eared Owls, 30 November. A Marsh Harrier was also noted at Carlton Marshes, 25 November.
The Slavonian Grebe was seen again on Breydon Water off Burgh Castle on 25 November and five redhead Goosanders were present on the river at North Cove, 27 November. White-fronted Geese were recorded at Carlton Marshes (25 flew over), 25 November and Burgh Castle Marshes (15), 1 December and counts of Pink-footed Geese included 1000 at Haddiscoe Marshes and 700 at Oulton Marshes, 25 November.
Waders at Haddiscoe Island on 25 November included 1620 Lapwings, seven Ruff, a Black-tailed Godwit, 56 Curlews, 11 Snipe and four Redshanks. Elsewhere, six Ruff were present at Oulton Marshes, 27 November and 106 Avocets at Burgh Castle and two Dunlin at Carlton Marshes, 1 December. Finally, single Woodcock were reported from Worlingham, 25 November, Waveney Forest, 26 November and North Cove, 28 November.
