Yellow-browed Warblers were seen at Burgh Castle, 10 October and Thorpe-next-Haddiscoe, 14 October. There was a significant arrival of Redwings on 8 October, with 150 over Carlton Marshes, 37 west at Worlingham, 18 at St Olaves and 12 west at Beccles Common. A Grey Wagtail was noted at Redgrave Fen, 9 October and four late Swallows at Fritton, five Stonechats at Carlton Marshes and a Kingfisher at Belton Marshes, 13 October. Bearded Tits were recorded at Carlton Marshes (15), 8 October and Belton Marshes (ten), 13 October.
Pink-footed Geese were noted at Blundeston (60 flew west) and Carlton Marshes (nine flew over), 8 October and Somerleyton Marshes (300 flew west), 12 October.
Waders included 28 Snipe at Carlton Marshes, 8 October, three Green Sandpipers at St James South Elmham, 12 October and two Woodcock, two Curlews and 19 Snipe at Belton Marshes, 13 October.
Marsh Harriers were noted at Belton Marshes (12), 13 October and Carlton Marshes (five), 14 October, with a Barn Owl reported from St James South Elmham, 12 October.
Finally, Little Egrets were present at Redgrave Fen, 9 October and Belton Marshes (12), 13 October.
